We believe that caring for your pets, providing meals, being attentive to the pet's needs, and affection are the most important segments of our visits.  Ann & Arlene's Ark will also pick  up your mail, newspaper, take trash to the curb, do light watering, , will check your home as a security precaution (if requested) and give your dog a short walk and poop scoop, if you so desire, at no extra charge to you.

• Ann & Arlene's Ark is ALWAYS AVAILABLE to care for your pets, whereas your neighbors, friends, or even another pet sitting service, may not be. If you have any emergency or last minute vacation plans, please call Ann and Arlene's Ark for a definite reservation.
   
• When you contact Ann & Arlene's Ark by phone or e-mail, we will request information regarding the types of animals you have, their needs, their schedules, your requirements regarding visits, as well as where you are located.  At your convenience, we will set up an appointment in your home, a FREE service to you, so that you will have the opportunity  to show us exactly what must be taken care of while you are away, as well as familiarizing the pet sitter with the location of items of importance such as bowls, food, leashes, etc.  This eliminates the need for the pet sitter to search for these items during the first visit, thus more quality time is spent pampering your pets.  Also, this time, we will also obtain detailed and pertinent information from you regarding your pet's health, habits, routine, feeding schedule, medicatons, as well as many other helpful hints to best care for your pet(s).


• Ann & Arlene's Ark ALWAYS meets with you well in advance of your departure, except in very rare instances.


• Your pet will be more content in his/her own surroundings.  Ann and Arlene's Ark may be one of the only pet sitters who will sit for a cat that is permitted outdoors while the owners are away.


• Ann and Arlene's Ark will make certain that your pet's schedule of exercise, meals, medication, etc., will not be interrupted.  We will prepare your pet's meals according to your instructions and at the time you specify.


• You need not worry about your pet being exposed to the myriad of diseases and excess noise from other pets as would occur in a communal situation.


• Ann and Arlene's Ark Overnight pet sitters are mature, experienced, professionals, who will spend numerous hours daily and overnight with your pets, giving them the care and attention they are accustomed to while you are away.  Just let the overnight pet sitter know exactly what your animals needs are, and they will be taken care of lovingly, precisely, and very professionally .
